What is the key use of the IPF report?

The IPF report provides a simple and easy way for corporate credit officers, to filter large volume of prospect customers for short term financing applying relatively small amounts of up to approximately US$300,000 (max).

What are the possible results generated by an IPF report?

There are three (3) possible scenarios, namely:

  • Positive + a Recommended credit amount.
  • Negative - No Recommended credit.
  • Subject Business Entity (SBE) cannot be authenticated as a legal entity and as such is automatically disqualified.

Is the IPF report suitable for use by Trade financing underwriters?

No.

IPF reports are more suitable for scenarios whereby corporate sales teams require the support of their local credit manager to provide a quick and decisive confirmation as to whether finance can be extended for B2B type of transactions.
